My Favourite Personal Development Podcasts That Will Improve Your Life

When it comes to the wonderful world of personal growth, health, wellness, business success, and everything that makes this blog tick, I've been diving into books, plugging into podcasts, listening and then listening some more... for years!


I believe that learning is a lifelong endeavour and the teachings on these podcasts involve lessons that are not taught in school.. I definitely do not ‘know it all’ (not even close !) and by listening and learning from others, I am constantly improving myself and ultimately tmy ability to make a meaningful impact on the world.


And this is why Podcasts are super important to me.

Inspiration and Motivation:

These podcasts are like a shot of inspiration straight to the heart. They're filled with stories that light a fire under you and invaluable nuggets of wisdom that nudge you to turn your dreams into reality.


Personal Growth

You can expand your knowledge, skills, and perspectives to enhance your personal development journey. Knowledge is power and more importantly, knowledge coupled with action can lead to immense changes in your life.


Mindset

Podcasts are like your personal mentor, whispering secrets of self-belief and courage in your ear. They uncover the hidden treasures of mindset transformation, encouraging you to examine and overcome your limiting beliefs and guiding you on the path to conquering your deepest fears. Mindset is truly everything when it comes to personal growth and success and it is something that continuous learning through Podcasts can help you master.


Community and Support:

They're like a bridge to a supportive community. You'll find kindred spirits who share your growth journey, making you feel right at home.


Improved Relationships:

These podcasts are your secret weapon for improving how you connect with others. They're packed with insights on effective communication, empathy, and conflict resolution, making all your relationships better.


The great thing about listen to audios and Podcasts is that they don’t take up any extra time and don’t demand your undivided attention as you can listen to them while you are doing other things. I personally listen while I am exercising, out for a walk or driving.


I am lucky enough to have colleagues that think the same so recommending podcasts to each other and even listening to them at work is not uncommon.


Here are some of my favourites.


1. The Mindvalley Show with Vishan Lakhiani


This podcast has a variety of topics in health and wellness. The Mindvalley podcast brings the best minds together to discuss powerful ideas in personal growth for mind, body, spirit and work. Recent episodes have delved into topics ranging from "Reversing Aging and Preventing Diseases through Biohacking" to "Creating Multiple Income Streams." Mindvalley also offers an annual subscription program with over 100 online courses covering entrepreneurship, health tips, relationship advice, and more.

2. Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu


Best personal development podcasts

Tom Bilyeau is the co-founder of the billion dollar brand Quest Nutrition and co-founder of Impact Theory University .


Tom’s mission is to “Pull people out of the matrix at scale by giving them an unpowering mindset” , essentially helping people reframe how they see the world, what they see as limitations and what they are actually capable of.


Some of the recent ones I listened to on the Impact Theory podcast included Hal Elrod from the Miracle Morning “F*Ck Law of Atraction! How to actually brainwash yourself for success” and , Dr Mindy Pelz on Intermittant Fasting


3. The School of Greatness Podcast with Lewis Howes


Episodes range from interviews with incredible world-class game changers in entrepreneurship, health, mindset, and relationships, to solo rounds with the host, Lewis Howes, and the once a week listener-favourite, the 5-Minute Friday format.


Host Lewis Howes has a pretty inspiring story about transforming his life. He went from living on his sister's couch after a sports injury to becoming a New York Times best-selling author and lifestyle entrepreneur inspiring others through his book, speaking engagements and podcast.


4. The diary of a CEO


I first came across Steven Bartlett's podcast while researching Intermittent Fasting and listened to his interview with Dr. Mindy Pelz which provided a wealth of information on the topic.


It’s been my go-to podcast for breakthrough ideas and truths about health and wellness.


Steven is an accomplished investor in the health and wellness space with notable investments including Huel - UK’s fastest growing e-commerce company internationally, and Zoe - the personalised nutrition programme created by the world’s top scientists.


5. The Tony Robbins Podcast

Best personal development podcasts

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably heard of Tony Robbins.


Most people know Tony as a motivational speaker / guru, personal development coach, author and life and business strategist . His podcast aims to provide strategies for people to create massive results in business, relationships, health and finances.


I personally first learned about Tony Robbins through informercials in the 90’s selling his Life transformation program Get the Edge - a phenomenal life changing program that helps you see what you are truly capable of.


The education and content Tony provides is delivered to audiences worldwide via audiobooks, events, books, programs, life and business coaching and of course podcasts:


Listening to self-improvement and personal development podcasts can be an incredibly enriching and transformative experience. Just like having a wise friend by your side, these podcasts offer real-world wisdom that can bring about positive change in your life.
