True Power Is Within Your Reach

People often equate success with power, and truth be told, successful people are powerful beyond belief, but it isn’t the kind of power that comes with military rank or job title or even lots of money.

Each one of us has the power to do great things – inspire, motivate and achieve greatness in whatever pursuit we choose.

Want to tap into that power? Here’s what you need to do:

Prosper where you are planted. Choose to, every day, wherever you are and in whatever you do, to be excellent. That’s a power you have within you that no one can take away. Go at your job as if you are President of the world even if you bake cakes for a living. You are President of your world. Don’t ever forget that.

Choose to be a victor not a victim. You have the power within you to choose to move forward no matter what the circumstances rather than play the blame game and live in mediocrity.

Influence, inspire and motivate those around you. You don’t need to be Tony Robbins to have an impact in other people’s lives. No matter what you do or who you are, you have the power to make a difference in someone’s life whether it is through words or simply leading by example.

Treat people the way they want to be treated. Treat them with respect. Express gratitude. Be kind. You don’t need a fancy degree for that. You don’t need a manager’s title for that. You have the power within you.

Want to do great things? Do these things. That’s true power that you already have within you. Do this and everything will fall into place.

To your success,

  1. Inspiring! And yeah, you absolutely CAN positively affect those around you, without having to be someone famous 🙂

  2. The whole blog post is super enlightening and inspiring.

I will stick to one part though…”choose to be the victor – not the victim”…it’s sad to see so many people just live the life someone else told them to…being the victim of their lives…

Thank you for sharing this with us 🙂

    1. Vasilis, sad but very common. Admittedly, I have fallen into that trap in the past when things weren’t going well. If I could teach my kids something truly freeing, it would be to choose to be victor and stop playing the blame game when things go wrong. It’s liberating, really.

  3. Awesome post.it is true that everyone can make a difference, and 9 times out of ten, the people who say they can’t or they have no story are usually the people that stand out from the rest in the end.

  4. I agree Tereza, Power Is Within Your Reach. I like how you said… “You don’t need to be Tony Robbins to have an impact in other people’s lives.” So true. Just be yourself and be the best version of it. and tomorrow, be a little better than that. Great read.

  5. Prosper where you are planted! Love that one, will have to use it. Tereza, you are right, the true power is within, we were designed that way and we are where we are for a reason. Your post helps many to be great right where they are. Cheers.
