5 Reasons Why You Should Not Give Up

Staying on track isn’t easy and the temptation to quit and give up can creep up during tough times. Here are 5 important reasons why I think you should keep going

Three-feet-from-gold1. You are closer than you think

What if you really are closer than  you think? What if you are just 3 feet away from diamonds? Another swing of the axe might just cut down that tree.

Success isn’t instantaneous. It does take time. Some of the most successful people in the world confess that they almost gave up, moments before it “happened” for them.

2. Your success is much more important than you think it is

If you quit now, you will never truly know what the world might have missed. Who could you have touched? Who could you have inspired? What difference could you have made?

3.  It gets easier

Think about it. Something you are good at today is probably something you found difficult in the past. Remind yourself of that when you find something  difficult. Do difficult things and stretch yourself. It will get easier and will be worth it when you master it.

4. Think of the rewards

Being comfortable isn’t really that comfortable is it? Sticking at it and getting a little “uncomfortable” can provide you with a much more “comfortable” lifestyle.

5. What’s the worst that can happen

When you think about quitting, remember that success is not a destination but a journey. there really is no failure.  Think of the growth you will experience, the lessons you will learn and the person you will become… even if you don’t meet a specific goal.  Do you really want to miss out on that?

To your success,
